Need more light in your garden?
Crown thinning reduces the foliage and outer-branch density of the tree. We do this by removing damaged, crossing or rubbing limbs and removing smaller secondary branches. Thinning the crown involves the removal of approximately 10-20% of the branches throughout the canopy without changing the shape or perception of the trees crown.
Is the tree outgrowing your house?
A typical Crown reduction is carried out to reduce the overall size and spread of the tree by a given specification such as 20-30%.
Are branches drooping too low and interfering with daily life?
A crown life removes lower branches to an agreed height. This allows for better landscape. Crown lift is also used where low branches are causing obstruction or encroaching on fences, homes or buildings.

There are two cardinal rules for using mulch to combat weeds. First, lay the mulch down on soil that is already weeded, and second, lay down a thick-enough layer to discourage new weeds from coming up through it.
